| This is my Great-Grandpa Eugene's Baptismal Gown. He wore it in 1920. He had five siblings, and they all wore it. Then they all had children, and they all wore it. Then they all had children, and many of them wore it. My Grandma Joanie wore it in 1953, my Mom wore it in 1983, my Uncle Alex wore it in 1985, and I wore it for my baptism in 2008. With all the family members who've worn it, we figured it's been used in 100+ baptisms through the years. Pretty cool, huh?! |
